Johnny is one of the Haitian youth who weekly attends New Life Discipleship bible study (Lavi Reyel in Creole). He accepted Jesus into his heart a few years ago at one of our annual 1-Day Camp events, and his life has never been the same. Listen to his heart as Darlys Bird had the privilege to visit with him.
“I want to be closer to God…more…because God is the life. When you have God, He’s the life. He’s the best thing…you can stay with no problem. He will protect. And I encourage everybody to come closer to God. Because it’s the best thing you can choose in your life. Because material things – you can have a lot of things, but if you don’t have God, you don’t have anything in your life.”
We are so encouraged at the impact Lavi Reyel is having in the lives of the Haitians and how they are learning what it means to grow closer to God. It is only through God that this is able to happen and that lives are being changed. Please pray for the ministry and that God will continue to greatly impact the lives of those who attend the Bible study.
