Get out Your Dusty Instruments

The musicians are in place, just praying for God to send instruments so our CIDM worship band may lead the youth in praise to the Lord more fully AND teach others in our group to play instruments. The drums and keyboard shown were borrowed for a special event.

Imagine the possibilities God could do by simply donating an instrument to Haiti….

  • Beautiful worship music drawing others in who hear the sound of praise and they become followers and lovers of Jesus
  • Teaching students to play instruments giving them a skill, purpose and worth
  • Music students one day becoming music teachers providing shelter and food for their family
  • The possibilities and chain reactions are endless simply because you generously gave an instrument or gave funding for one.  The chain of learning and growing could permeate Jacmel and all of Haiti someday.  God does amazing things, when we just obey His still, small voice.

Instruments needed:

  • Set of drums
  • Full keyboard
  • Saxophones
  • Acoustic guitars
  • Bass guitars
  • Trumpets
  • Flutes
  • Violins

We are the Instruments of the Lord

“but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.”    Romans 6:13b

Be an instrument of righteousness by donating your instrument, funding one or a portion of one OR by passing this word on to others you know who want to donate their instruments.

If you would like to donate your instrument, we will make sure it gets to Haiti.  Simply contact Darlys Bird at dar@cidmhaiti.org.  Thank you for your generous hearts in blessing the Haitians with a joyful song of praise to the Lord.

“Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!”

Psalm 150
