It was a question that stopped us in our tracks.
Brisso, our CIDM Teaching Director, recently shared about a fresh revival stirring among Haitian students. As we’ve been sharing, this movement began in October 2025—and we are now witnessing lives change in real time. Students are accepting Jesus right in their classrooms with our teachers, then continuing to grow through our Saturday discipleship Bible club.
Many are hearing the good news of Jesus—and the truth of God’s Word—for the very first time.
They’ve heard about Jesus in church… but they’ve never heard the truth in such a personal way.
“I can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God?”
“I thought Jesus was just for Sundays.”
“I never knew the Bible had truths that could guide my life.”
One student, a 19-year-old senior in grade 13, said something we will never forget:
“Why didn’t you come teach me this in earlier years?”

She went on to explain that she wants more of this teaching in her school—but she is graduating this year and will soon leave for university in another town.
We rejoice that she now knows Jesus. Though she received just one year of this teaching, her life has been forever changed—and God will continue His work in her as she grows and shares these truths with others.
We can’t go back and change her past.
But together, we can change someone else’s future.
There are so many more students—just like her—across Jacmel and surrounding cities who are waiting to hear. The doors are open. The hunger is real.
As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” (Matthew 9:37)
We already have qualified, trained candidates from the Bible seminary in Jacmel who are ready to go. They are willing. They are called.
We simply need the resources to send them.
